That space between where you are and where you want to be, we need to own it.
This is important because many people struggle being in that space. It’s a bit like no-mans-land
And the only way through is forward.
Why is it, when you want to be peaceful you keep getting stressed?
Or if you want to be calm and you keep having emotional bursts?
What is it that’s stopping us from shedding that Side of us that we don’t really want?
When we want to get lots of projects done but end up sitting on the couch all day.
It’s the energy of the old still lingering around us.
Everything is energy, on the highest level and it moves in various rates and frequencies of vibration.
Stressful thoughts have a stressful vibration and that vibration will linger even if we don’t want it to.
So how can you get rid of this old energy?
Train yourself to be in another state. – yep, that means to meditate.
Then when the stressful moment comes you develop an awareness to see it before attaching to it. That moment is powerful, it takes consciousness to choose and say “no”, to the unwelcome energy; to say “this is the energy I choose to step into”. It’s like a new pair of shoes, you have to put them on, and walk around in them.
“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” Aristotle
So what can we do when we slip back into old energy patterns? Firstly, it’s OK. Don’t be hard on yourself, because that self-flagellating behaviour, is linked with guilt and it is also not a useful vibration to exist in.
Anything from fear, stress, anxiety, anger, guilt, shame even pride, these are all energy fields that drain you. Some more than others.
You have to choose one word –
A word, an intention to keep redirecting yourself back to.
Mantra is very powerful because we subconsciously autosuggest ourselves all the time.
Try this mantra, it’s been my mantra on and off for the last ten years.
“I am peaceful, life-loving and content, I have a bounty of energy for my self and others.”
